Getting started
Getting started & setup
What is Plausible LFG?
Plausible LFG is a Discord bot and connected
network
that helps competitive CS2 and PUBG players form
squads on verified skill instead of self-reported
ranks. It pulls live stats from official game APIs,
matches players on skill, region, language and
playstyle, and spins up voice rooms automatically.
See how the bot works.
What does LFG (Looking For Group) mean?
LFG stands for Looking For Group —
finding other players to team up with. Plausible
focuses on competitive LFG, where the quality of
your teammates decides whether a session is good.
Requiring alignment on playstyle, skill, region and
language. The Plausible LFG Network delivers data
driven insights so you can align your group.
How do I set up the Plausible LFG bot?
Install the bot in your Discord server (1 click),
link your PUBG or CS2 account through the official
integration (3 clicks), confirm your verified
profile, set your region and language, then host or
join a squad. The account link is what lets the bot
show real, live stats instead of a typed-in rank.
How fast is setup?
About ten minutes. Installing the
bot is one click and 8 minutes of choosing your
preferences. Users link their game account is three
clicks. There's no rank form to fill in and no
manual configuration before you can play.
Do I have to move my community to use Plausible?
No. The bot installs inside your
existing Discord server and your members stay there.
The LFG Network broadcast brings a larger verified
player pool to you, rather than pulling your players
out into a central hub. The LFG channel is
controlled by the Plausible LFG Discord Bot, which
makes the LFG channel the central hub,
viewable by all communities with our Discord Bot.
Verified stats
Verified stats & matching
What does "verified (never self-reported)" actually mean?
Your stats come directly from the game operator via
an official API, not from a rank you typed in
yourself.
No inflation, no guesswork — squads
are built on actual authoritative live data.
How does Plausible get verified stats?
Through official API integrations —
KRAFTON for PUBG (ADR, KD, win
rate, rank), FACEIT for CS2 (live
rank, ELO, match data), LEETIFY for
CS2 Premier (live ELO rating). The data comes
straight from the games' own systems, so it's
verified and never self-reported.
How does Plausible verify CS2 stats?
Through the official FACEIT API.
Your live FACEIT rank, ELO and match data are pulled
from FACEIT's own systems and shown on your profile.
Through the official LEETIFY API we
pull your live Premier rating.
How does Plausible verify PUBG stats?
Through the official KRAFTON API.
Your ADR, KD, win rate and rank are pulled live from
PUBG's own systems and shown on your profile.
How does the bot help me build a squad?
Who you match with is up to you.
Match on verified stats, language, region, and
playstyle. Build your ideal squad from the network
of verified players.
What's the best Discord LFG bot for CS2?
For competitive CS2,
Plausible LFG is purpose-built for
the niche because it verifies skill through the
official FACEIT API and LEETIFY API — live rank, ELO
and match data rather than self-reported profiles.
See the full LFG bot comparison.
What's the best Discord LFG bot for PUBG?
For competitive PUBG,
Plausible LFG verifies stats
through the official KRAFTON API, so ADR, KD, win
rate and rank are real and live rather than claimed.
Matching then uses that verified skill alongside
region, language and playstyle. See the full
LFG bot comparison.
Why does verified matching reduce toxicity?
Toxicity is driven by
skill mismatch — and research shows
it comes more from your own teammates than the other
team. Matching on real, verified data builds squads
that play better together and removes a common
trigger for frustration and blame.
The network
The LFG network
What is the Plausible LFG Network?
The Plausible LFG Network is a set of
connected Discord servers that feature a shared
Plausible LFG channel that acts as the
centralized LFG hub for all communities. Each server installs the bot once and
can
broadcast squad requests across the whole network,
so members reach far more verified players without
leaving their own community.
How does the network broadcast reach other servers?
When you host or search for a squad, the bot creates
a LFG embed — complete with users
in-game name, rank and stats. The Plausible LFG bot
controls the posts in the LFG channel and
posts your LFG embed in your server, and every
other server in the network. It's opt-in per server, and every profile in the
pool is verified the same way.
How does the network help a small community?
A single server only has so many people online at
once. By drawing from the whole network, a smaller
CS2 or PUBG community
punches far above its own headcount, off-peak hours stop being dead hours,
and a wider
net doesn't mean lower quality because every profile
is verified.
Does using Plausible mean leaving my current Discord community?
No — and that's by design.
Plausible installs as a bot inside your existing
server(s) and connects to a shared verified network.
Your members stay in the community they already
belong to while reaching a larger verified player
pool. It strengthens your server instead of pulling
players into a central hub.
Communities
Communities & server owners
How do I list my community on the network?
Install the Plausible bot in your server and connect
it to the network during Early Access. Once
connected, your community can appear in the
Browse Communities (coming soon) directory, where
players filter by game, size, language and region.
Listing is part of joining — there's no separate
application.
How does better LFG help a community, not just individual players?
Competitive communities become places people return
to
for the people, not just the game.
Reliable, verified LFG keeps good games happening
inside your server, which is what keeps members
coming back and retention healthy. More in
reviving LFG for communities.
Is my community too small or too big for Plausible?
Neither. Micro communities under
500 members use core LFG free forever, and the
network is what lets small servers reach a big
player pool. Larger, multi-title communities pick a
paid tier for extra tooling, but every size gets
verified matching.
Games & coverage
Games, regions & languages
Which games does Plausible support?
PUBG and CS2 are live now via
official APIs, with community-voted expansion
underway for other competitive titles.
See results and vote here.
Is Plausible only for CS2 and PUBG?
For now, yes — verified support is live for CS2
(FACEIT) and PUBG (KRAFTON), because
depth in the competitive niche
matters more than broad, shallow coverage.
Which regions and languages are supported?
Plausible is available worldwide.
Matching uses your region — such as NA, EU, SEA, OCE
and others — to keep latency sane and playtimes
overlapping, and your preferred language so squads
can actually communicate. You set both when you
create your profile, and communities on the network
span many regions and languages.
How do I vote for the next game?
Early Access members vote inside the Discord and on
the official title ballot. We go deep before we go
wide — dialing in each title before adding more —
and the community picks what comes next. The live
tally is published on our
homepage.
Voice & safety
Voice, safety & moderation
How do the voice rooms work?
When a squad forms, the bot
automatically creates a voice room
for it — private (squad-only) or open — routes
everyone in, and cleans the room up when you're
done. No manual channel setup and no leftover
clutter. For private squads, hosts control who is in
the squad via a control panel in their direct
messages.
What moderation and anti-toxicity tools does Plausible have?
The biggest lever is
player choice, augmented with verified skill
data, which prevents the skill mismatches that drive
most toxicity. On higher tiers, anti-toxicity
tooling and AI moderation across community channels
and ticket tools add another layer on top of good
matching to keep squad spaces healthier.
Pricing
Pricing, billing & refunds
Is Plausible LFG free?
Yes — core LFG features are free forever
for players and small communities under 500 members.
Early Access is locked free for founding
communities, with paid tiers arriving later for
larger, multi-title servers.
What do the paid tiers cost?
After Early Access: Community is
$9/month per server for a single title over 500
members; Pro is $50/month per
server for all titles plus tournament hosting;
Studio is a custom partnership for
game studios and tournament platforms. Core LFG
stays free for players and micro communities. See
the full pricing breakdown.
Do I need a credit card to join Early Access?
No. Early Access requires no credit
card, and Early Access members lock in free access
for life as founding communities — no matter how big
their community later gets.
Will the price change after Early Access?
Core LFG stays free forever for
players and communities under 500 members. Paid
tiers launch after Early Access for larger servers,
but anyone who joins during Early Access keeps free
access for life as a founding community.
What's your refund and cancellation policy?
Core LFG is free, so there's nothing to cancel to
keep using it.
Paid tiers are month-to-month with no long-term
contract
— you can cancel anytime and keep access through the
end of your billing period. For any billing
question, reach out through the support Discord.
Privacy & data
Privacy & account linking
What data does Plausible access when I link my game account?
Only your public competitive stats from the
official API
— for PUBG that's ADR, KD, win rate and rank via
KRAFTON; for CS2 that's rank, ELO and match data via
FACEIT and LEETIFY. Linking authorizes Plausible to
read those stats; it does not give Plausible your
game password.
Is my game account safe to link?
Yes. Account linking uses the
official integration, so you authorize read access
to your stats rather than handing over credentials.
Plausible reads the performance data needed to build
your verified profile and match you fairly.
Does Plausible post or play on my behalf?
No. The integration is read-only
for your stats. Plausible displays your verified
profile and uses it for matching — it doesn't play
your games, change your account, or post as you in
the game.
Can I unlink my account or delete my data?
Yes. You can unlink your game
account at any time, which stops Plausible from
reading further stats. To remove your profile data,
reach out through the support Discord and we'll
handle the request.
Still have a question?
The fastest way to get an answer is the support Discord — or just install the bot and try it. Core LFG features are free forever for players and communities under 500 members.
